Slaves of the Monetary Fund Islamic Articles

Allama Iqbal says: “In splendour, in seduction and in grace, the buildings of the banks outsoar the houses of God; In appearance it is trade, in reality gambling; The gain of one is sudden death to millions, Science, Philosophy, College, Constitution, Preach man’s equality and suck man’s blood, Want and unemployment, lewdness and intoxication, Who says the gifts of Occident are few?”.

Colonial rule over the Muslim countries helped them establish a strong hold over the Muslims by making them slaves forever. In the past they were in the practice of selling them out as slaves and in the present they are in the practice of making them slaves by monetary methods and strategies. They are the Slaves of the World Bank and slaves of IMF. They are being monitored and controlled by the so called funding organizations. Source loans they give restrict the Muslims to use the money where it is not even required.

The denominating affects on the 3rd world and the Muslims countries disturb the social system Muslims countries. Every person is under the debt of these controlling authorities one way or another. Then they name it foreign aid. Surprisingly most of the people are not aware of the bad effects of these policies on the economic conditions of a country. Every child born in a country under debt gets debt in inheritance. All the rest of his life is spent as a slave bought by the world back. Muslims in the present time are like a machine that is controlled by the world powers and the funding organizations.

Eric de Mare states: “Under the prevailing monetary system none of us lives in a true (economic) democracy. We live under an oligarchy that is all powerful, permanent, responsible to no one and directly or indirectly dominated and restricts every individual and every government in the world … … …”

Rasool Allah said (S.A.W): “Allah has cursed the one who takes interest, the one who pays it, the one who writes the contract and the one who witnesses the contract”.

Muslims have lost their ways because of there being negligent to the facts and orders of Allah mentioned in the holy Quran. Quran has all rules and regulations that Muslims should follow. Therefore Muslims need to follow the holy Quran to break the slavery they are in. now it is time that Muslims break the chains and strike back rather than being slaves forever.

Now Learn Online How to Read and Recite The Holy Quran Properly! Islamic Articles

The Quran was first revealed in Arabic. It still remains in its original form and believers say that God has made his concern to preserve the Quran in its original form. The word ‘Islam’ comes from Arabic word ’salama’ meaning peace, purity, submission and obedience. Islam in a religious point of view means submitting yourselves to the will of God.

The beauty and essence of Holy Quran is enhanced by the fact that it is written in a language that is as graceful as Arabic. Arabic is a great dialect and has a unique calligraphy and that makes the Arabic Quran more and more intriguing to read. The Quran in any other language may at times miss the essence of what the writer wants to say. This is the main reason why many people still believe in reciting the Quran in Arabic although there are many translations for the book that are available. Not only people following the Quran do so but also people who do their research and study work on religion prefer studying the Quran in its most pristine form. There is a certain kind of rhythm that is associated with Quran and it only comes while reading it in Arabic and no other language.

All pronunciations, intonations and caesuras that were used by Prophet Muhammad must be used in a very effective way while reciting the Holy Quran in Arabic. The feel that you get while reciting the Quran in Arabic is very unique and peaceful and you will not attain that state of mind while reciting the Holy Quran in any other language. Learning of Quran in its elementary form is more satisfying than doing it any other language. Reciting Quran with expert tutors (Quran Hafiz) can be more understanding and knowledgeable.

There are many online websites and software’s that are dedicated to the work of teaching people Quran in its primary form that is in Arabic. You can buy such websites membership or use the software’s they provide. However these ways can only give you rudimentary knowledge about the Holy Quran. Arabic Quran is a very deep subject if taken as a field of research and scholars are still trying to understand the hidden meaning of phrases that are used in the Quran.

Holy Quran and Modern Science Islamic Articles

We are living in the age of computers, laser surgeries, advanced medical treatments, and cloning! In today’s world of constant scientifically groundbreaking discoveries, how can we accept that Allah’s revelation, The Quran, did not reveal this all before? Believing the entire world to be created by God Himself, the Qur’an revealed 1400 years ago contains 1000 verses of scientific knowledge, and none of them contradicting with today’s scientific facts and discoveries. (SubhanAllah)

Apart from guiding mankind personal, social, moral and spiritual areas, the Quran doesn’t stop here and also throws light on varied scientific topics like astronomy, geology, embryology, genetics, biology, archeology an much more. Following lines will show you that Quran is truly a divine gift of Lord upon His creators. Read on.

The Big Bang Theory and Quran!

  • Modern Science: Astronomers of today accept the big bang philosophy for the creation of this universe. According to the theory, 15billion years ago a primordial mass exploded and the universe was formed. This was discovered somewhere in 1973.
  • The Quran: “Do not the unbelievers see that the Heavens and the earth were joined together, and then We split them apart.” (21:30)

Expansion of the Universe

  • Modern science: “The universe is not static, as had previously been thought, it is expanding”
  • The Quran: “And the firmament, We constructed with power and skill and verily We are expanding it” (51:47)

Reality of Sun’s Orbit

  • Modern Science: Previous theories stated that sun is motionless in the center of the solar system with all the planets revolving around it. But modern science tells us today that the sun too is in motion along with the planets, and travels at 150 miles per second takes about 200 million years to complete one revolution around the center of our Milky Way Galaxy and 25 days to make one complete rotation around its own axis.
  • The Quran: “It is He who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its orbit with its own motion.” (21:33)

Invasion of Space by Human Beings

  • Modern Science: After launching of the Russian Satellite, Sputnik I in 1957, the human interest in the space took form. Entailed by several incidents including man’s landing on moon, human dream of conquering space was given a reality.
  • The Quran: “O assembly of Jinns and humans, if you can penetrate the regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate them! You will not penetrate them save with a power (of God).” (55:33)

Earth’s Ozone Layer

  • Modern Science: Science proves that Earth is frequently attacked by meteoroids that collapse by sun rays. Similarly the dangerous UV radiation is absorbed by the Ozone layer around our planet, thus protecting it and making us live on earth.
  • The Quran: “And We have made the atmosphere a protective roof, yet do they turn away from the Signs which these things point to.” (21:32)

The Creation of Mankind:

  • Modern Science: Through powerful microscopes, ultra sound and fiber optics technology, the science of embryology shows that life is generated by eggs. Here are the processes defined by modern embryology:
  1. Fertilization takes place with only one sperm among several tens of millions produced by man.
  2. Implantation of the blastocyst in the uterus
  3. The human embryo is similar to a leech from days 7-24, when it clings to the endometrium of the uterus.
  4. The internal ears appear before the eyes, and the brain appears last.
  • The Quran:
  1. “God fashioned man from a small quantity (of sperm)” (16:4)
  2. “Then We placed him as a drop in a place of rest” (23:13)
  3. “Then We made the drop into a leech like structure…” (23:14)
  4. “And He (God) gave you hearing and sight and feeling and understanding.” (32:9)

The Quran describes not only the development of external form but also the internal stages – the stages inside the embryo of its creation and development, emphasizing major events recognized by contemporary science.

Existence of Two Genders

  • Modern Science: Science tells us that everything from animals to plants and even bacteria are divided into pairs, male and female.
  • The Quran: “Hallowed is He, Who created pairs in all things, those that grow from the earth and of themselves, and what they know not.” (36:36)

What Is Islam And Who Are The Muslims – The Truth Revealed… Islamic Articles

This is what Islam and Muslims really are:

For every Muslim, the Quran is not just a book but a complete way of life and this is why they follow Quran persistently throughout their lives. Now believing every word in the Quran to be the exact message from Allah Almighty, here are only a couple of verses quoted from the Quran:

“Fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not transgress limits, God does not love transgressors” (2:190)

“If they seek peace, then you seek peace. And trust in God for He is the One that hears and knows all things” (8:61)

These two verses have been cited to eliminate your concept of Islam as being violent, aggressive and destructive. The word “Islam” itself means peace and harmony. In these two verses, Allah has clearly stated that he can’t love aggressors and fight is only permitted for the reason of self-defense. There are innumerable verses like these, refraining people from fights and suggesting them to find alternatives and maintain peace. War is only allowed when there’s no other way left and your lives and possessions are in a serious threat. Now think for a moment, can a religion talking about peace to such an extent create terrorists, extremists and fanatics? All Islam talks about is peace – peace with God, peace with oneself, and peace with the creations of God!

Now look at this way – if Islam talks about peace, then why are the Muslims terrorists, why all this bloodshed? And the answer you’ll get is quite simple, “because they are NOT Muslims at all!” The true identity of a Muslim is not of an extremist, but Muslim is the one who believes in oneness of God, in the angels created by him, in the Prophets sent by him, in the Day of Judgment, and most importantly in “INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITY OF ACTIONS.”

Muslims are the followers of Allah, and they do this through the guidance of Quran. For every Muslim or non-Muslim who wants to know the reality of Islam and Muslims, Quran is the leading path. Understand the Quran, and you’ll understand how beautiful and peaceful Islam is.

What Is Islam And Who Are The Muslims – The Truth Revealed… Islamic Articles

Islam, the second biggest religion of the world after Christianity has around 1.2 billion followers who call themselves Muslims. Day by day, the circle if Islam is widening at quite a commendable rate, i.e. 2.9% increase in its followership per year, which is amazingly higher than the number of births which is increasing at a rate of only 2.3% yearly.

This increasing popularity of the religion has made many people probe deeper into what actually Islam is and who are the real Muslims? Where media of the west is constantly seeding the young minds with a negative concept of Islam, it still remains one of the biggest religions of the world with a tremendous number of supporters.

This is what “YOU” think about Islam and Muslims:

When the questions like “What is Islam?” or “Who are the Muslims?” are raised, the only answers you’ll get are “Islam is the religion of war and Muslims are the terrorists”. But there is more to Islam than such false accusations, and people round the Globe are advised to explore it themselves and then judge the true character of Islam and Muslims – you’ll be shocked by how different your answers will be when compared to what the western media portrays!

The Holy Quran and the religion Islam say something else – Whereas the west is busy propagating its own established fake story regarding this sacred religion. It wouldn’t be wise for you to judge something unless you don’t know about it, and it’s your responsibility as an individual to find out why so many Muslims are following Islam with all their hearts and mind, and to find out the force uniting these Muslims despite the bogus claims made against their religion. If nothing else, this finding will at least let you know 22% of the world’s population much better!

Marriage with Qur’an, a Sinful Act in Islam Islamic Articles

The Concept

large number of feudal in backward areas had married their daughters to the Quran. The ceremony takes place after the girl of the family is asked to take a bath, after which a Qur’an is put before her as the men folk apologize to her for the ritual which would condemn the girl never to get married but to read the Quran every day.

Reasons for Marrying with Qur’an

These sorts of marriages are conducted to prevent their share of the land going to them and thus avoid redistribution of land.

Another reason is that poor parents are not able to find perfect match for their daughter so to prevent her for disgrace, they marry her with Qur’an.

Those who are not so rich to pay dowry to their daughters find it easy to marry her with Qur’an to keep away from humiliating gossips about them.

Islamic Rulings

These marriages are totally illegitimate in Islam and have nothing to do with the religion. This is all about power, control and extreme of ignorance.  Women are not valued enough to consider how their entire lives, and any dreams or hopes they might have had, their lives are ruined by a ‘tradition’ that is inhumane and beyond any rational explanation.

Islam never allows coming off from the world for the sake of religion.  how can one claim that it is right or allowable?  Although Islam requires complete devotion towards religion and Quran Recitation is obligated to all Muslims but this is abusive to marry a girl with Qur’an to make her recite it daily.

Islam doesn’t give men unbounded power to ill-treat women when he is given the status of leader of the house’.  Islam does not want sheep for its disciples. men are required to protect women from abuses, not to legalize what has been illegal in Islamic societies.

Does Quran Allow Forcing Someone to Embrace Islam? Islamic Articles

Humans have been given freedom of choice and the intellect to observe and exploit the forces of nature and derive benefits from them unlike animals and other phenomena of nature which are forced to follow the nature God has made for them. The reason of blessing humans with power to think and observe is to let them decide what is right and what is wrong.

If man accepts the laws of God, then it is for his own benefit and if he goes against them then the consequences will again be upon his own self. It is clearly stated that the person delivering the message of God is not a custodian over the people, as the Qur’an says:

“Surely we have revealed to you the Book with the truth for all mankind; so whoever follows the right way, it is for his own soul and whoever errs, he errs only to its detriment; and you are not a custodian over them.” [Quran 39:41]

Above verse shows that the messenger of God cannot force people to accept the laws of Allah. He is not allowed by Allah to force people into accepting his message, and the message has to be accepted by one’s own free will and own initiative, as the following verse points out:

EID-UL-FITR – DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS Islamic Articles

Anas (RA), a companion of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) reported that when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) migrated from Makkah to Madinah, the people of Madinah used to have two festivals. On those two days they had carnivals and festivity. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked the Ansaar (the Muslims of Madinah) about it.

They replied that before Islam they used to have carnivals on those two joyous days. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told them: ‘Instead of those two days, Allah has appointed two other days which are better, the days of Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha.’ (Hadith)

UPLIFT IN FAITH:

Ramadan is the month at whom arrival, Muslims are delightful and the entire environment, the aroma around the entire neighborhood changes that makes it even more predictive that The Month of Blessings and Mercy has began where uplift in faith results in more attention towards prayers, worship, Quran recitation & a clear inclined in sins is the month of Ramadan.

Ramadan with its blessing offers such opportunities that entire Muslims Umah change their timings / routine for eating, standing in prayer, sleeping as they do not seek anything else but forgiveness with complete submission to Allah (SWT). Seeking blessings, mercy and forgiveness for the life herein and hereafter as the result of a month long ritual of devotion, piety and abstinence.

PREVAILING DIVERSITY:

It is of the fact that many of us Muslims prepare for the very special month and it is of a fact that the diverse cultures are to establish and make certain aspects prevail in their own role playing duties. Special worshipping and praying in Ramadan may affect their practice as the timings of office

On the other hand a school / college student may find it difficult to set aside their studies however praying and Quran Recitation should be done with Taraweeh, while house wives find themselves busy preparing food and managing households, but may visit the ladies morning in which one daily Juz of Quran is studied.

OUR BELOVED PROPHET LIFE’S A LESSON TO MANKIND:

We as Muslims are provided with certain aspects of life which are perfect in every sense and if one is unable to understand the benefits does not stop to come and this is where one is to examine and learn the life of our Beloved Prophet (SAWS) for which HE practiced to be more:

  • Generous: Narrated Ibn Abbas: “The Prophet was the most generous amongst the people, and he used to be more so in the month of Ramadan when Jibreel visited him, and Jibreel used to meet him on every night of Ramadan till the end of the month. The Prophet used to recite the Qur’an to Jibreel, and when Jibreel met him, he used to be more generous than a fast wind (which causes rain and welfare).” (Al-Bukhari, 3/31, no. 126)
  • Quran Recitation: The Prophet (SAWS) use to recite Quran to Jibreel every night in Ramadan by which it use to recite Quran and memorize the entire revelation upon Him till that time.
  • Secluded Worship for last ten days of Ramadan: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would go into seclusion for (the last) 10 days during the month of Ramadan, but the year in which he passed away he went into seclusion for 20 days.” (Al-Bukhari)

Itikaf & its Virtues in the month of Ramadan Islamic Articles

Let’s keep things simple and easy for us to understand, we all claim to know our religion well but we fail to understand that what in real terms our religion expects us to practice and the entire thought of understanding would contribute to the rewards which Allah (SWT) has promised us.

As said keeping things to the point and simple will make you explain more about our religion and today what I would like to focus is upon the upcoming blessed Month of fasting known as Ramadan and its virtues in context for the act of worship known as ITIKAF, which is to performed by staying at a Mosque.

Well, when we say Mosques instantly you are to compare the two separate conclusions that a person performing ITIKAF in the greatest of all months will be involved in such great acts like offering Salat in congregation will make him achieve rewards 27 times more than normally and the entire act of praying is done with peace of mind and devotion.

On the other hand when we compare a person who is not performing ITIKAF in the month of Ramadan and is at work will not be able to pray in congregation and will always be in a rush to pray and get back to business which continues to cause distraction, thus losing consistency and devotion that does not allow him to achieve any reward.

Thus, ITIKAF makes it easy for the person (Mutakif) performing to devote himself solely towards ALLAH (SWT) and this is where you are to understand all the benefits concerned with it breaking all the ties from the outside world and indulge in prayers and worshipping the Creator.

“And seek help in patience and As-salat (the prayer) and truly, it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khaashi’un (i.e. the true believers in Allah – those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His punishment, and believe in His Promise and in His Warning). (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return.”(Surah 2)

In addition: “Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden).(Surah 23)

Few Common Mistakes Made in Ramadan Islamic Articles

Few Common Mistakes Made in Ramadan Islamic Articles

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)

When it comes to Ramadan and its blessings we are to flourish each and every part of our body and soul, the entire submission to nothing else but Allah (SWT) and seeking forgiveness from no one else more than ever in the Month of Ramadan and this all is said to be done.

But there is something that requires your attention, we all do seek and focus on the benefits and rewards promised in this month, but have we ever thought of the mistakes that we are capable of making in such a Holy Month.

Well, I know what your answer would be and probably that is why below are some mistakes to avoid especially in the Month of Ramadan:

IFTAAR PARTIES:

It has been encouraged by Islam that inviting one and another to break fast is good and considered highly, but in the name of socialism and modernism some masses have taken this quite far which leads to those acts that are strictly forbidden in Islam such as flirting, disappearance of Hijaab, mixing, dancing of different sexes is forbidden.

RAMADAN As RITUAL:

For many of us certain things have just become things of mere repetition which has made us lose the originality and the actual cause the actual intention and the actual reason which ISLAM has obligated us to do, thus for many Ramadan has become a ritual for many without even knowing the reason why we fast.

FOOD & DRINK:

For some food and drink has become more than anything and while they are fasting all they can think of where to break their fast and when would be the time for that.

COOKING TAKES TIME:

For many wives that is a problem and they are often found cooking the entire day which is very wrong, Ramadan is the month of blessings and forgiveness you are expected to make most out of it by praying, fasting, reciting Quran, worshipping rather than cooking or wasting time planning for cooking.

EATING LIKE ANYTHING:

We have developed a habit of eating more than we can take and filling our bellies up has become a norm which is not according to SUNAH and thus is very wrong as we are always told to be moderate.

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “The son of Adam does not fill any vessel worse than his stomach; for the son of Adam a few mouthfuls are sufficient to keep his back straight. If you must fill it, then one-third for food, one-third for drink and one-third for air.” (Tirmidhi, Ibn Maajah.  saheeh by al-Albaani).

SLEEPING ALL DAY:

People are with the understanding that sleeping while fasting is great as they wont feel that much that they are fasting and will keep away from other eating and talking distractions. Well, negligence is never excused and this is what they are liable to as they should be the ones gathering the blessings of this Month to the maximum rather than sleeping and wasting precious time.

Itikaf – An Act of Worship for the Fasting Month Islamic Articles

We as Muslims are to learn and practice the very ISLAM that is told by us by our Beloved prophet (SAWS) and our Creator, The One & Only and The Lord For the entire universe, ALLAH (SWT) has made it as an obligation to understand and the true religion of its kind which is for sure better than any other religion.

Thus the time has come for our ummah to understand the importance of such things which have been widely accepted and practiced in the past, but as time passed their understanding and practice has diminished which is quite depressing. For this reason today we are to know the importance of ITIKAF in the month of Fasting, Ramadan.

Yes, that is right fasting is one of the important pillars in ISLAM and this comes in the month of Ramadan which is told to us by several Hadith and Quran verses that the Month of Ramadan is a true blessing to the mankind and those who want to seek mercy, forgiveness and blessings should pray and worship in abundance to please their Lord, ALLAH (SWT).

This is where performing ITIKAF provides the ultimate spiritual retreat to make things happen for you and this is an ultimate opportunity to devote oneself to the maximum limits of submission and this is where one is left with no other diversions or thoughts but to stay at Mosque refraining from the daily worries of life and praying to ALLAH (SWT) for HIS mercy.

Our Beloved Prophet (SAWS) said: “The persons who secludes himself (in the Masjid in I’tikaf) in true faith and hope (for the reward of Allah), all of his previous sins shall be forgiven.” (Kanzul Ummal, Hadith 24007)

This is what you are to understand that ISLAM began its journey from devotion and the revelation started from ITIKAF and this is where Allah (SWT) said: “And when We made the House a pilgrimage for mankind and a (place of) security, and said, ‘Appoint for yourselves a place of prayer on the standing-place of Ibrahim [Maqam-e-Ibrahim].’ And We enjoined Ibrahim and Ismail saying: ‘Purify My House for those who visit (it) and those who abide (in it) for devotion, those who bow down (and) those who prostrate themselves.’ (Suratul Baqarah (2), Verse 125)

Thus the importance of ITIKAF is to be understood and practiced with ultimate succession as Allah (SWT) has promised great rewards, but to qualify for those you are to perform this act of worship in accordance with devotion and purity of your heart in the special month of Ramadan. May ALLAH (SWT) help you achieve what you seek (AMEEN).

How To Prepare For Ramadan – Are You Ready? Islamic Articles

O you who believe! Observing al-sawm (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become al-muttaqoon (the pious). (Quran al-Baqarah 2:183)

Before we start to know how to prepare for Ramadan, I would like to tell you all my brothers and sisters the importance of this Holy month in our loves and how Allah (SWT) and our Beloved Prophet has mentioned again and again of this Month’s greatness.

To all who are able-bodied and mature enough to fast be prepared of the fact that the beautiful month is about to arrive and appropriate understanding is ideal to make the most out of it in the given month spiritually and physically.

Remember, this is the month of achieving great heights rather than following the misconceptions of normal people taking Ramadan as a month of eating and drinking and just consider to the extent of keeping their bellies filled ignoring the fact that they are required to worship and piety following certain aspects exclusive to the month of Ramadan.

To follow the best practice and prepare for the month of Ramadan, following are useful tips to consider:

1. Sincere Repentance:

This is where you are required to follow all year round but when the month of Ramadan comes you are required to worship Allah (SWT) and repent from sins between you and your Lord. Start the month by getting busy in good deeds and worshipping refraining from other aspects which will contribute to unnecessary activities and all this is to be done by clean heart and peace of mind this is where Allah (SWT) says (interpretation of the meaning): “And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful” [al-Noor 24:31].

2. Du’aa (supplication)

3. Rejoicing at the approach of the blessed month: Allah (SWT) says (interpretation of the meaning): “Say: ‘In the Bounty of Allah, and in His Mercy (i.e. Islam and the Quran); —therein let them rejoice.’ That is better than what (the wealth) they amass” [Yoonus 10:58]

4. Discharging the duty of any outstanding obligatory fasts:

5. Seeking knowledge in order to be able to follow the rulings on fasting and to understand the virtues of Ramadan.

6. Hastening to complete any tasks that may distract the Muslim from doing acts of worship.

7. Sitting with one’s family members – wife and children – to tell them of the rulings on fasting and encourage the young ones to fast.

8. Preparing some books which can be read at home or given to the imam of the mosque to read to the people during Ramadan.

9. Fasting some of the month of Shabaan in preparation for fasting Ramadan:

10. Reading Quran:

These are some of the very tips which will help you to make things different and for further information and knowledge on the beautiful month of Ramadan search for more online resources.

How to Prepare for the Day of Judgment Islamic Articles

Everyone in this world is well aware of the fact that this life is mortal. All of us are sent in to this world for some specific time after that we have to dwell in eternal life which starts after the end of this life. Humans pass through different phases after the death i.e. separation of soul from body, life, in grave and the most important event that will happen on the Day of Judgment is when we will be held accountable for our deeds and when we will be questioned by our Lord Allah (S.W.T.) as He says in Qur’an:

“Then surely, We shall question those (people) to whom it (the book) was sent and verily, We shall question the Messengers.” ( Al-A’raf, 6 and 7)

Two Methods of Accountability

On the Day of Judgment, every human being who is sent into this world in any era will be stood together at a place where they will be held accountable in front of God as He says in Qur’an:

“The Day is approaching when every soul shall find itself confronted with whatever good it has done and whatever evil it has wrought. It will then wish there is a wide space between it and the Day! Allah warns you to beware of Him; He is most tender towards His servants.” (Surat Al-Imran, 30)

There will be two methods of accountability,

  • Those who have successfully spent their lives according to the teachings of Allah and His Prophet (PBUH) will be directly sent to the paradise to live an eternal life with all the blessing they have been promised for and will be considered as the most successful people.

They will say: “Praise be to Allah Who has fulfilled His promise to us and made us the inheritors of this land, letting us settle in Paradise wherever we want. How excellent is the wage of those who work.” (Surat az-Zumar, 74)

  • Those who used to commit evil things in the worldly life will be questioned about their bad acts and surely they will have no answer for it except shame on their own deeds and begging pardon for their wrongdoings but the time of forgiveness will be over. Those people will be sent to hell fire where they will be tortured for their sins until they complete their punishments.

On the Day when those who were unbelievers are exposed to the Fire, [it will be said to them]: “You dissipated the good things you had in your worldly life, and enjoyed yourself in it. So today you are being repaid with the punishment of humiliation for being arrogant in the earth without any right, and for being deviators.” (Surat al-Ahqaf, 20)

First Question for the Mankind

Prayer is the very first question that will be asked from the people on the Day of Judgment. If a person performs prayers with the extreme quality, then the person will be saved. If the prayers were done incompletely or half-heartedly, then his voluntary prayers will suffice for the shortcomings.

Prophet (PBUH) said:

The Messenger (S.A.W.) told us in an authentic hadith , “The first thing the people will be accountable for on the Day of Judgment is prayer, Allah will say to His angels (even though he already knows) : “Look at my servants prayers. Were they complete or not?” If they were complete it will be written as complete. If they were not fully complete Allah will say: “See if my servant has voluntary prayers, if he has them Allah will say: Complete his obligatory prayers shortage with his voluntary prayers.” Then the rest of his deeds will be dealt with in the same manner.” (Reported by Imams Ahmad, Abu Dawood, An-Nisa’i, and Al-Hakim)

Five Things that will be Asked

The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told us about five major questions that will be asked, and no one can bypass these prosecutions.

  1. How he lived his life?
  2. How he utilized his youth?
  3. What means did he earn his wealth?
  4. How did he spend his wealth?
  5. What did he do with his knowledge?

There are lots of other question that will be asked from us e.g. all of our covenants and promises that have made in our lives, hearing, our vision, and our hearts.

“And fulfill (every) covenant. Verily! The covenant will be questioned about.” ( Surat Al-Israa, Verse 34)

“Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those, you will be questioned (by Allah)” ( Surat Al-Israa, Verse 36)

Conclusion

Muslims should consider themselves very lucky by having told about the day of judgment in such clear words and have Qur’an, Hadith and Sunnah to learn and live the life according to them so that at the Day of Judgment we stand amongst the believers and successful people. The good believer is the one who prepares himself for those difficult events by getting closer to Allah (S.W.T), by doing good deeds, and by staying away from what Allah has forbidden, so that he will be among those who receive their book of deeds on the Day of Judgment in their right hand and Allah will enter them into paradise.

Importance of Salah (Prayer) According to the Holy Quran Islamic Articles

Pray to me and I will hear your prayer” Quran (40:60).

Namaz, Salah or Prayer is obligatory on every Muslim man and woman after reaching adolescence. Among all the wonderful benefits of praying, here is why Prayer is so important a deed in Islam:

  • Allah Is With Those Who Pray

“Oh ye who believe! Seek help with perseverance and prayer: for God is with those who patiently persevere (11:153)

  • Prayer Leads to Taqwa

“This is the Book in which there is no doubt, a guidance for those who have taqwa; who believe in the unseen, and who establish Salah, and spend out of what we have provided for them” (2: 2-3)

  • Prayer Is a Believer’s Deed

“The believers, men and women, are protecting friends of one another; they enjoin good and forbid evil, and they establish Salah, and give Zakah, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have His Mercy on them, and surely, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.” (9: 71)

  • Prayer Results in Allah’s Blessings

“So whatever you have been given is but (a passing) enjoyment for this worldly life, but that which is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord. And those who avoid the great sins and lewdness, and when they are angry, they forgive. And those who answer the Call of their Lord, and perform the Salah, and who conduct their affairs by mutual consultation, and who spend of what We have bestowed on them.” (42:36-38)

  • Prayer Reward in Akhirat

“Truly, those who believe and do righteous deeds, and perform Salah, and give Zakah, they will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (2:277)

  • Prayers Keep You In Connection With the Almighty

“When have finished performing the Salah, remember Allah standing, sitting, and reclining, but when you are free from danger, perform the Salah. Surely, Salah is enjoined on the believers at

fixed times.” (4:103)

  • Command of Allah to Observe Prayers

“Guard strictly the Salah, especially the middle Salah. And stand before Allah with obedience.” (2:238)

  • Prayers Are A Way To Seek Allah’s Help

“Oh you who believe! Seek help through patience and Salah. Truly, Allah is with those who are patient.” (2:153)

  • Importance of Friday Prayer

“Oh you who believe! When the call is made for the Salah on Friday, come to the remembrance of Allah, and leave off business. That is better for you, if you only knew! And when the Salah has ended, you may disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allah, and remember Allah much so that you may be successful.” (62:09-10)

  • Prayer Prevents From Satan

“Shaytaan desires only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from Salah. So will you then not abstain

(from these evils)?” (5:91)

  • Prayer Saves from Troubles

“Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book, and perform Salah. Verily, Salah prevents from lewdness and evils. And indeed, the remembrance of Allah (by you) is greatest. And Allah knows what you do.” (29:45)

  • Only Those Who Pray Can Be Your Good Friends

“Indeed, your protecting friend (Wali) is none other than Allah, His Messenger, and the Believers who establish Salah, and give Zakat, and bow down (in prayer). (5: 55)

  • Prayer and Women

“And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform Salah, and give Zakah, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah wishes only to remove uncleanness from you, Oh people of the House, and to purify you with a thorough purification.” (33:33)

  • Not Observing Prayer Is a Hypocrite’s Act

“Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but it is He who deceives them; When they stand up for Salah, they stand with laziness, only to be seen by men; and they do not remember Allah but a little.” (4:142)

  • Leaving Prayer Causes Kufr

“(And remain always) turning to Him (only), and be fearful and dutiful towards Him, and perform Salah and be not of those who commit Shirk.” (30: 31)

  • Leaving Prayers Destroys A Nation!

The Word “Furqan” Defends Muslims Against Extremism Islamic Articles

Surah e Furqan

As a result of which we have confused Muslim generation. They have lost the difference of the right and wrong as mention in surah e furqan:

“Blessed is He Who sent down the Discrimination upon His servant that he might be a Warner to the nations”.

The word furqan is an Arabic word that means Criterion or Standard. The instinct and nature of man is based on a balance between good and evil. When this balance is lost either man becomes a devil or he enters the blessings of Allah.

The meaning of this word is to distinguish between good and evil. Again Allah says in the in surah e furqan:

“And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in a basement; Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”

Fitra of mankind

According to Islam it is the fitra of a man that motivates his actions and defines his role on the course of life. The common needs of a man are food, shelter, and protection. The most important thing is success that everyone is looking for. Quite a number of people go under the influence of the method of attaining their goals by hook or crook means. The things provided to man are just to test him. So the people committing sinful acts are most of the times taking advantage of what they are provided with.

“Beautified for men is the love of things they desire: Women, Children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world’s life, but

Allah has the excellent return (Paradise).” [3:141]

In Quran at several places the desires of human beings is mentioned to be used in a productive way to make the world here after a prosperous one. As said in the Quran:

“Seeking the perishable goods of the worldly life. There are much more profits and booties with Allah.” [4:94]

While the ones who do not transgress make a useful, productive and positive use of the blessings of Allah. They perform the practical of balanced natural desires that are aroused in the Fitra of a man.

The use of the natural desires with an evil motive can be quite dangerous. About this Allah says in the Quran:

“These are the limits (set) by Allah, so do not approach them”

[2:1871]

“These are the limits (set) by Allah, so do not approach them”

[2:1871]

Extremists Calling Themselves as Muslims

Terrorism is a word used by the non Islamic forces to propagate Islamic culture as an extremist in the ideological, political and social means of the injunction in practical sense. They criticize the non state terrorism and jumble it up with the teachings of Islam. Islam in fact has nothing to do with these groups of people. Cultural demands are jumbled up in the teaching of Islam and the proponents of non Muslim forces who are using it for their own political benefits. They are provided with the powers we call “world powers” and are basically used to introduce Islam as terrorists so that they have a justification to subjugate and oppress them all over the world. The group of forces who are destroying the name of Islam are those who themselves are ignorant of the Islamic teachings. The resistive forces of Islam that are fighting back for their rights do not come under this head.

There has not only been an armed suppression but forums and virtual technologies and denominating effects of the economic powers are also being used to affect the minds of the Muslims youth. So that the Muslims are weak enough to even fight back these forces.

Way of guidance of Quran and the word Furqan

For the growth and development of faiths of the Muslims youth it is essential that we make them realize that  Quran, and the messenger comes first and then the human desires follow according to their faiths. Following Ayahs tell us about the exact meaning of Furqan:

  • “The day will come when we will raise from every community a witness from among them, and bring you as the witness of these people. We have revealed to you this book to provide explanations for everything, and guidance, and mercy, and good news for the submitters”. [16:89]
  • The messenger of GOD has set up a good example for those among you who seek GOD and the Last Day, and constantly think about GOD. [33:21]

Effects of Reading Quran on Heart Rate, Blood Pressure and Perceived Stress Levels Islamic Articles

Studies show that there are positive effects of reading Quran on heart rate, Psychology and blood pressure.

There has been very little research on the effects of holy Qur’an on human body. According to research by, Vander Hoven from Netherlands stated that “Muslims who can read Arabic and who read the Holy Qur’an regularly can protect themselves from psychological diseases”.

Yucel Salih (2007) “there are statistical changes in body temperature and respiratory rate, but they are not significant enough to support the positive effects of prayer on physical well-being”. He also stated that “the current study found statistically significant changes of physiological conditions, and the study supports the hypothesis that prayer does have positive effects on physiology”.

There was such a research also carried out at University of Sal ford. Heart rate, blood pressure and perceived stress levels were measured before and after reading Surah Alam Nashrah and Surah Al Rahman from the Holy Qur’an.

The participants heart rate, blood pressure and perceived stress levels decreased after reading Surah Alam Nashrah, Surah Al Rahman from the Holy Qur’an.10 Muslim psychology undergraduates were interviewed.

Another research carried out on ten Muslim students. It educates and guides the reader to living a good life. It increases the faith and relaxes them. That has an effect on the psychology of Muslim students.

There are psychological and physiological effects on a person reading Quran. It lower downs the perceived stress levels, heart rate and blood pressure of the person reading Quran.

Antichrist (Dajjal) the greatest Fitnah of the World Islamic Articles

adhrat Imraan bin Husain (R.A.) relates that,

“I heard Rasulullah (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) saying: “Since the birth of Adam (A.S.) till the advent of Qiyamah there is no fitnah (evil, test) much greater that of Dajjal.”

Dajjal is the greatest fitnah of the world as mentioned by the prophet. It is believed that he would lead people to fire. He would give rise to conflict, war and bloodshed.

Who is Antichrist (Dajjal)

Antichrist is one of the signs of end of times. He would emerge before the doomsday and organize the evil powers together to fight against good. This would turn the people away from religious and moral values.

Dajjal would deceive the people with weak faith and lead them to the edge of fire. These people would follow him because of Dajjal displaying magic, hypnotism, false miracle etc. People with lack of knowledge and weak faith would follow him. He would be the major source of violence, terror and evil.

In view of Quran

In one verse it is stated that: If someone shuts his eyes to the remembrance of the All-Merciful, We assign him a satan who becomes his bosom friend (Surat Az-Zukhruf: 36)

Each time they kindle the fire of war, Allah extinguishes it. They rush about the earth corrupting it. Allah does not love corrupters. (Surat Al-Ma’ida: 64)

Those who are unbelievers are the friends and protectors of one another. If you do not act in this way there will be turmoil in the land and great corruption. ( Surat Al-Anfal: 73)

The above ayahs draw the true picture of the evil forces of the world. Satan is the friend of people who have deviated and who have weak faith. This is why Dajjal would follow satan. He would be scared of satan instead of being scared of Allah.

In view of Hadith

Prophet of Allah, sallallahu `alaihi wa sallam, said,

“There will be three hard years before the Dajjal (appears). During them, people will be stricken by a great famine. In the first year, Allah will command the sky to withhold a third of its rain, and the earth to withhold a third a third of its produce. In the second year, Allah will command the sky to withhold two thirds of its rain, and the earth to withhold two thirds of its produce. In the third year, Allah will command the sky to withhold all of its rain, and it will not rain a single drop of rain. He will command the earth to withhold all of its produce, and no plant will grow. All hoofed animals will perish, except that which Allah wills.” He (sallallahu `alaihi wa sallam) was asked, ‘What sustains people during that time?’ He said, “Tahlil, takbir and tahmid (Saying, la ilaha ill Allah, Allahu Akbar and al-hamdulillah). This will sustain them just as food does.”

[Sahih Al-Jami` as-Saghir, no. 7875]

Signs of appearance

According to hadees it is evident that Dajjal will hide in a rocky place and it is believed that this rocky place Haram Sharif. In the same time it is evident from hadees that imam Mehdi will lead the forces of the believers against Dajjal. Jesus and Mehdi would say prayers together at bait ul muqadas.

Menace

The chaos caused by the Dajjal has its roots laid in the world. As we can see the conflicts between the countries and it has no valid reason for it. Terrorism is on its peak. Muslims are surrendered by bloodshed and pain in the present time. We can see turmoil and menace of the fitnah of Dajjal in the world.

How to protect ourselves

Holy Quran is the only way to succeed in the time of Dajjal. We should read, learn Quran and implement its teachings to take refuge in Allah’s shelter.

According to hadees following dua should be recited for taking refugee:

O Allah! I seek Your protection from the torture of hell, and I seek Your protection from the torture of the grave, and I seek refuge with You from the mischief of life and death, and I seek Your protection from the mischief of Dajjal pretending as Messiah.

[Sahih al-Bukhari 2:102, Muslim 1:412, 588]

Islam Religion Encourages Learning, Observation and Science Islamic Articles

The glory of Muslim civilization among the other communities was only because of the Islam’s focus on learning and education. This thing becomes clearer when you study the Quran and life of the Prophet Mohammad, where you can find numerous references to education, need for learning and use of logic.

For more than a thousand years Islamic empire was honored as the most developed and advanced civilization across the world. This is again because of the fact that Islam never halted anyone from learning and even Islam shows great importance to it. This desire of knowledge inculcated in Muslims tolerance, discipline and respect for authority. The Islamic beliefs and teachings persuade many Muslims to achieve their destination in the fields of science, astronomy and medicine.

It was their passion and enthusiasm for learning which resulted in the conversion of all Greek material available on Medicine, Astronomy and Science to the Arabic language. Baghdad was the hub for all this written material. Damascus, Cairo shared the same status. It was Muslims who first invented the present day cheque system. Soon, Arabic became the international language for trade and transfer of thoughts. The center of activity and knowledge shifted to east and Baghdad became the light house for the dark and ignorant Europe. The Muslim community emerged as the inventors of many scientific notions, with novelty and efficiency being their core values.

Similarities Between The Religion Islam And Christianity Islamic Articles

Islam and Christianity are the two largest religions dominating the world, yet following the same baseline which reflects “Belief in One God.” It’s surprising to know how much similarity and connection both these monotheistic religions carry. Let’s throw some light on these similarities:

The Fateha & The Lord’s Prayer:

“The Lord’s Prayer” in the bible and the “Sura Al-Fateha” in the Quran are universal prayers. After careful observation, we can see that both the prayers carry the similar meaning with only the difference of language.

Belief on Jesus

Both Muslims and Christians recognize the Jesus. Both believe that Jesus was sinless and born of the Virgin Mary. Both religions accept that Jesus preformed miracles and was crucified and raised up to God. The difference is only in the belief where Muslims see Jesus as a highly regarded prophet, while Christians take Him as God Himself.

Belief in the World Hereafter

Islam and Christianity are united on the concept of the doomsday. Both believe that existence of this World is finite, but man does not know when the World will come to an end. Jesus Christ will return when the World ends and at that time Satan and his servants will be defeated. Believers who die will go to heaven and live forever, while Disbelievers will go to hell to be punished.

Similarity in Prayer

Prayer is an integral part of both the religions. Both religions facilitate the communication of man with God through prayer. Prayer can be conducted at any time and special times also exist to make sure man develops the habit to pray.

Praying aids like “tasbeeh” in Islam and “rosary” in Christianity are also used which resemble a string of beads.

Prayers in The Holy Quran for Muslims – Part 1 Islamic Articles

The Quran provides us with many specific prayers that we may use for ourselves. The Quran contains the Contact Prayers in Sura 1, as well as other various prayers of supplication and commemoration. A list of Quranic prayers is provided here. God advises us in Sura 2, Verse 186:

“When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to Me…”

In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

The very first prayer we encounter in the Qur’an is the Contact Prayers. These are the specific words used by Muslims five times a day for Salat. Sura 1 (The Key), Verses 1-7:

“Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe. “Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment”.

You alone we worship; you alone we ask for help. Guide us in the right path; the path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers.”

Islam and Honor Killings Islamic Articles

Islam is always inscribed with a solemnest charge of killing women who are found in dishonoring their families indulging themselves in dating or sexual relations with men. The phenomenon is known as honor killings. Honor killings are truly un-Islamic and are never considered as legitimate act in Islam.

Qur’an doesn’t encourage Muslim men to kill their women in any circumstances. Although adultery and fornication are strongly forbidden in Islam and have strict punishments but they are only applicable after the confession of the culprits and testimony of four eye-witnesses.

Now question arises that what is the origin of honor killings? Most of the people will agree with the fact that honor killings are outcome of backward cultural customs and traditions that are prevalent in non-Islamic and men dominating society.

Where Are Muslims In The World? Islamic Articles

It is quite an important question of the time that where exactly are Muslims in the world? If these people are really Muslims and Quran is the last scripture by God then why are Muslims all over the world going through this downfall.

Conflicting ideologies and beliefs:

Muslims apart from the threats of the world powers are now in a struggle for retaining their identities all over the world. The reasons of this point where you can’t even distinguish between Muslim and kafir are based on the following three components:

• Ideologies

• Beliefs

• Manners

Talking about the preservation of identity the greatest threat is the lack of leadership in the Muslims. On the other hand Muslims on the grass root level are fighting back for preservation of the binding and guiding school of Muslim’s coming generation called a family circle. There is no guidance for the coming generation, leading them to the mist of confusion at the present state of mind and ruthless truth of loss of identity. There is nowhere in this world where a Muslim can stand up with pride, with pride of being a Muslim. Conflicting ideologies, beliefs and manners are the main factors of this recessive phase that Muslims are presently facing.

Classification of Muslims of the present time:

Trying hard to cut the ice can be difficult for the Muslims of present time as they are themselves not sure where they are leading too. Most of the Muslims don’t even know the meaning of Muslim.

• Muslims who are not aware of their identity at all.

• Muslims who are aware but tend to follow the satin for worldly desire.

• Muslims who tend to follow a political leader who calls himself a Muslim leader and stay ignorant.

• Muslims who concentrate on their sects and don’t think of Muslims as one nation.

• Muslims who are busy in blaming others and don’t see the speck in their own eyes.

• Muslims who have never read Quran other than Arabic and don’t know what is written in Quran, though they do read Arabic Quran.

• Muslims who never read Quran.

• Muslims who never indulge in the implementation of Islam in the lives and also don’t ask their children to do so.

• Muslims who are happy to follow the west and tend to mix the teachings of Islam with likings and disliking.

• Muslims who think that if they pray five times a day they are Muslims and ignore the rest of the teachings of Islam.

• Muslims who don’t worship as they think it’s not important, there are other tasks in the lives more important.

• Muslims who classify extremism as Islam.

• Muslims who mix cultural practices with Islamic practices.

• Muslims don’t participate in social implementation of Islam.

• Muslims who want to be too liberal.

• Muslims who are too conservative.

• Muslims who have no knowledge about Islam at all.

• Muslims who don’t bother to get knowledge about Islam at all.

How to get out of this depressive state:

The Muslims would stay in this stage of stress until they themselves get out of it. It is very important to understand the meaning of identity of Islam. Define your ideologies, practices and manners in accordance with the teachings of Islam. They need to get as much knowledge as possible through Quran. The main reason of this stage is that Muslims do not have enough knowledge about Islam because they don’t enlighten there ways with Quranic teachings. This is what differentiates from the kufars.

Factors that can make a difference in the Islamic world:

In every time there have been reasons for which mankind has been deviated. But still there are factors that can hold the people back on the track. In the case of Islam knowledge is the power that can improve the condition of the Muslims. Following are the factors that affect the society as a whole in the present time:

• Education

• Media

• World politics.

Thus Muslims have to make themselves strong at the grass root level to make a difference on a political and global level

The Inner Teachings of Islam Islamic Articles

Religion is the most important attribute of human’s life whether he is Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Jew or belongs to any other religion. The deed a man commits reflects how much a religion is dominating on his character. Every religion has two types of teachings for its follower.

  1. Internal Teachings
  2. External Teachings

Inner Teaching is communicated in metaphoric way; we have to discover it using our brains and knowledge. The symbol for Islam is the Sun, the Moon, and the Star. The Sun, Moon, and Star represent Man, the walking Trinity, who is created in the Image and the Likeness of God.

All natural phenomenons represent the presence of God. The dawn and the sunset, changing weathers, creation of Mountains, flow of oceans, rain, growth of plants and sea creatures, natural calamities and disasters all symbolize that there is One God who is making this universe to work according to some plan.

Our earth is rotating and revolving in systematic way making life possible for all creatures. There are so many planets in the galaxy heaving unknown number of different living beings which are still to be discovered by man.

In the Quran, people are summoned to contemplate numerous events and objects that clearly testify to the existence and uniqueness of God and His attributes. This, indeed, is the responsibility of mankind: to be able to see the signs of God.  Thus, such a person will come to know the Creator who created him and all other things, draw closer to Him, discover the meaning of his existence and his life and so prosper.

The inner teachings demand us to discover the realities about world, to testify that there is only one God, Allah, who is running the system of this universe through angels who act according to the commandments of Lord.

Islam and Its virtues Islamic Articles

There is nothing more pleasurable and great about reading Islam than understanding and practicing it in the full potential what it has to offer. This entire concept is understandable when it comes to make things work for you and it is advised for you to acquire such knowledge from the word of Allah in form of an ultimate guidance and solidarity in Quran.

The moment in time unfortunately makes the non-Muslims in no better situation to understand and follow Islam with its ideologies and virtues as to the misconceptions, stereotypes and misrepresentations prevailing barriers to the religion of Islam and its understanding is even more deprived to the language or translation barriers and more of a educated diverse language Muslims who can portray the real picture of Islam.

The Quran holds the true secret of life in which Allah (SWT) tells the mankind the true purpose of their existence and the life which has a meaningful ultimate resource to which the submission to the one God is the attainment and reward for which the next life of this would be awarded as Eternal Paradise and on the other hand the non-believers or the ignorant people who will fail to submit to the guidance of Allah (SWT) will be punished in Hell.

This is where Allah (SWT) in the Holy Qur’an, says, “Verily this Qur’an doth guide to that which is most right” (17:9). Muslims believe that only when humanity believes in the One God and sincerely follows the teachings of this divine book, will all the problems of the world then be solved.

Further the following verses confirm what Allah (SWT) has to order the mankind for their true strong belief:

“Do no evil nor mischief on the (face of the) earth.” (2:60)

“Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong.” (3:104)

“Do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbors who are of kin, neighbors who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess.” (4:36)

“[God] forbids all indecent deeds, and evil and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.” (16:90)

“Verily the most honored of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you.” (49:13)

Teachings and Beliefs of The Religion Islam Islamic Articles

According to Islam every new born child is innocent. So there is no concept of “original sin”. People remain guiltless until they commit a sin on their own will. Islam is neither an ethnocentric nor a sacramental religion. The followers of this religion observe no sacraments.

Anyone can convert to Islam by his/her own discretion. There has to be no need of any ceremony, involvement of sermonizer or any other thing. It is purely a matter between God and man. What a person needs to do is to accept that there is no God but Allah and prophet (PBUH) is the last Messenger of God and establish a firm belief in Holy Qur’an, Angels and the Day of Judgment.

Every Muslim should accept the following doctrines of Islam:

Oneness of God:

Islam is a strictly monotheistic religion. The followers of Islam believe that there is no other God than Allah.

Existence of Angels: The throne of God is surrounded by Angels. They serve as His messenger to people. The most important of all angels is Gabriel. Iblis is a fallen angel, he is also referred to as the Satan or Devil. He has authority over the djinns who are male and female demons.

Holy Books:

The Muslims believe in the sacred books which include the Torah, the Gospel of Jesus, the Psalms, and the Qur’an. The followers of Islam believe that Qur’an is the only book which is completely error free. Those who memorize the whole book by heart and the deed of Quran Recitation are highly honored in Islam

Women in Islam Islamic Articles

Western propaganda has been very successful in portraying the misinterpreted image of women in Islam. They consider women as weak, oppressed and second class citizen in the eye of Islam. But the reality in not what is shown in the news, movies and stories. Muslim women got fair amount of rights and respect in society, Islam is the most revolutionary liberalization of women’s rights the civilized world has ever seen.

Think of the possibilities for liberalization based on purely Islamic sources, not taking anything from the modern West.

That would be truly Islamic value of women. The origin of Islam is far more liberal and feminist than what subsequent generations made of it. Women’s rights were established by the Qur’an and the Prophet (peace be upon him), who after all loved women; we need to filter out the spurious anti-woman hadiths that were added later. Although the term liberalism of women has developed a somewhat poisonous connotation in today’s sermon, it really just means the promotion of women’s God-given rights and liberties, which is to the good of everyone.
